Sacred Pen
The poem is a prophetic affirmation of the sacred pen’s unquenchable power to advance justice, freedom, and divine life across sacred places, institutions and ages.

As Carmel awaits its sacred altar, Justice rises on Ararat’s psalter. My axe in Jordan I’ll not forsake, While Nile’s wail calls, my thirst awake.
From Cherith’s brook, I drank to none, Yet like wildfire, my zeal burns on. To free freedom, enslave the chain, In Jerus-har-lem, Mecca, Ife’s reign.
On time’s vast sand, my mark I’ll stamp, No ocean quells this burning lamp. Like a thief in night, the righteous thrive, Peace floods the earth, as waters strive.
Philistine’s sons will fade away, Zion’s daughters in joy array. My sacred pen, like sun, will shine, Granting life through words divine.
