DEATH BE NOT PROUD

The Lord said to my lord, "Sit at my right hand Till your foes are put on hold." A journey defined unaware For a feat beyond silent land. Seeking the key to the future, Transfiguration required. Accusation enfired, Two too bitter pills to swallow, Yet contested after gotten. The sacrifice on the horns bind Illuminates the broken link. Thus new love rekindled, Preparing for many houses. A rage! "Had I known" becomes a song, Determined by a spinning coin. Akin for recap of Ahitophelism In the land of the forsaken. Why then does sepulchre gay? Why does fecund fill a scorner? The mission is completed, bye. Now on cosmological journey Where no flaw floods the floor. Who can dare the devil? None. Only the rugged are dogged, Filling the first seat of furnace In the order of the trio as four. The latter makes the serenity. Before the rainbow I'll stand, Where the virgins shall sing. With their lamps shall we see. Then the feast brings peace. Where then is your sting, O death, the only link to life? © Tosin Abegunde

WRONG ALLEGATION I begin to ponder on wonders: The rhetoric of petitio principii, Reposed like plague on Èṣù, Hitherto accused of guilt, Relevant in no good deed. The twin living creature, Living in legendary junctions. At junctures leave footprints, Flamboyant yet very inimical, Giving no accent to one's plan, Still react to bit of instructions. Empathetic in sympathy, As white as charcoal in edifice, With pure heart to police all, Thus making a fragment of conscience, Though beyond scientific proof. The intruder at celebrations, Accuser of the brethren. In Jerusalem and Mecca I react; At Golgotha I threw my stone, Just fulfilling all righteousness. On success, it's Lord's doing; In tragedy, his handwork it is. Yet his contribution is faint, Like a distant noise of silence. What a paradox of reality! When did I join your loot? Did I force you to be reckless? Who says I pushed you extramarital? Did I blow your green horns? Quote me, queue me, quick! Contentment you lack; Conscience you need. I'm not guilty of these deeds. I shall be vindicated, Perhaps tomorrow lives beyond.
